When we mention powervalve's, most of us cringe. They are notorious for sticking, failing, seizing and generally affecting motorbike performance, but worst of all they can affect our ride confidence.

Often we just want peace of mind that our powervalve is working at its optimum and that its not the cause of that "increasingly noticeable flat spot..." or the "lack of mid-range power..." etc.

The benefits to having a correctly operational and adjusted powervalve are numerous with improved performance, smoother acceleration, better fuel economy and a confident ride to name just a few.

If you run a Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati etc. and have had problems with your exhaust systems, the chances are you've tried to resolve it yourself but it just keeps coming back or even getting worse!

We typically use copper based lubricants in an attempt to free up sticking, ticking or fatigued powervalve's yet this can actually make things worse!

For anyone who's taken a valve apart only to find thick, gunked up bearings and stiff or stuck moving parts, then chances are it's plastered in a copper compound.

Cleaning it up is easy, freeing the moving parts takes time! and re-lubricating can be expensive with OEM lubricants.
